The Double-overhand Knot

This is simply a logical extension of the regular overhand knot. The result is slightly larger, harder to untie. Kind of makes you wonder about the triple, quadruple, quintuple and sextuple overhand knots....

Knot Tying Instructions

Step 1 - Make a regular, everyday overhand knot.

Step 2 - Add one extra loop.

Step 3 - Pull to tighten. It is worthwhile gently pushing it togther to form a nice tight, even knot, as in this picture.
